ok so today i have just gotten my IRR orders to fort dix and needed to know some information about it. one thing i was interested in knowing but, not sure is that i herd that once you have you IRR you can go back to active duty? is this true?

you can TRY and go AD, it's most likely NOT going to happen however unless your MOS is a critical one.

is this your yearly " tell us you are still alive and confirm your contact info" letter or was it a "Hey we may need to reactivate you, get your stuff together"

being mobilized does NOT necessarily mean you will deploy.. or that it will happen any time soon.

my cousin was IRR, got called up to be an instructor. he then later went to actively drilling, and when that unit deployed he was able to make the transition back to Full time AD while in the Sandbox.
