Internet Explored has an add-on or a setting that is screwed up.

    This is an easy fix:

Open Internet Explorer, click Tools, click Internet Options, then click Advanced.

    Click the RESET button.

It will ask you if you are sure, and tell it yes. (Do not check the "personal settings" box)

If you don't have the "tools" option at the top of Internet Explorer, right-mouse-click neat the top of IE and make sure that "Menu Bar" has a check mark next to it.

first off, Tools--> internet options --> advanced tab--> run reset AND restore advanced settings.

no reason to even go into anything else before you've done this.
