    Yeah. Weird that everyone else is saying no!! Its actually an english slang term!! We said it in devon where i grew up, AND in london where i now live- cops and coppers, as well as the bill, the old bill, and pigs.

    We're a polite and respectful nation, ha ha. ; )

    theres even a tv programme about to start on tv in a sec called Coppers- one of tjose follow people around w a camera things- its a common term, but maybe only in

    I say the police. Or, as a joke - peelers.It's a nickname for them where I'm from.
