need to change thermostat gasket..?

I have a Mitsubushi Colt 85 model. I need to change the gasket on the thermostat but i have nowhere to buy one for atleast a month.

is there anyway i can make a homemade gasket for now?

    Silicone is only used to hold the gasket in place or some human beings decide directly to apply it to make optimistic it does not leak . I f you do come to a call to apply silicone make optimistic its sensor secure for the sensors interior the engine .
