Can I get a free DNA paternity test done?

From what I gather u cannot get it for free in Australia in your situation, but there are really cheap DNA tests you can do. Mayb u can ask them really nicely and they will give you a good discount or perhaps free :)

Sometime it depends on your age and living situation and if the mother believes he is or isn't the father. Most doctors would make a consideration based on the circumstances but then again they might charge a small fee as a discount. Other then that those test are pretty pricey unless you were to go on one of those talk shows like Maury or steve wilko's. Even then there could be a catch. Depending on your insurance also, some doctors can put you on a payment plan or make you pay a small portion while your insurance covers the rest.
