My son had his hair dyed burgundy in a salon. It was fading quickly within two weeks. Now he has it dyed cobalt blue and I love it!

It can look bad on some people and look good on others.
I have burgundy hair and I'm naturally a lighter brown. It lasts longer the less you wash it. It lasts longer if you get it done in a salon. It lasts longer if you use shampoo and conditioner made to keep your color fresh. It usually just fades to a brown, but there is still red in it when the sun is shining on it. The red is very difficult to get out once you put it in.

I have medium brown hair and dyed it burgundy and it faded to brownish red/orange within a few months. Your hair will probably fade to black with a dark red tint. If you wash it wish shampoo and conditioner for dyed red hair, it will last longer. Also washing it in cold water keeps the color longer.

I had a VERY dark brown color, that people always mistake for black.. anyway, I dyed my hair the burgundy color, & I used Fructis, the color shampoo & conditioner. & the reason why red has trouble staying in, is because the red... molecules? Are bigger than than blonde, or brown... ect. ect. & Hair is like fish scales. I always imagine it like, the color goes under the fish scales. & When you wash your hair in warm water, the fish scales open. Letting the red particles out... So, by this, I have reasoned, that washing your hair in cold water should also help to keep the color in. I dyed it last in... October?

& It was this color in December...
Hope this helps!

The reason why is everyone with blond, why aren't you just have jet black hair with some blonde or blonde hair with some jet black hair. Today you don't have to choose.

Blond would really suite you in the opinion. It looks really pretty and it has a style that's really noticeable. You'd look good with that.
