How do you pack lotion?

I'm moving and I have a bunch of lotions with a pump handle. How do you pack these so they don't leak in the box?

unscrew the pump. now you have the bottle and the pump

pump all the lotion in the pump back into the bottle.

try and pump a few times to make sure none is still inside

now pump and hold it there, then screw the pump to lock it

now screw it back onto the bottle

    not easy

    alternatives

remove pump and find another cap for jar

push pump down and tape it in down position, make sure that it can't get back to up position

move contents to another bottle with a lid

some containers with pump have a plastic cover to cover pump, find one.

that's all that I can think of

If you put them all upright, and secure in the box (so they don't fall over), without anything on top, they should be ok. they'll only leak if they are pressured.
