hey guys, my birthday is in a month's time and i was thinking I could have something to do with new york but like casual like with the big hats that say NY on them and it will be colourful.
My question is...
How can i ask my mum about the party? We had kind of a tragic reason not to celebrate my birthday last year and we didnt so i'm really worried if i ask this year she'll say the same things so i need a clever way of asking her, if i get a B in calculus (dyslexia) it will be an opportunity, so help me with that.

Simply ask...I'd like to have a b-day party. What can I do to make that happen?"
