Can’t Purchase Microsoft points from Xbox live marketplace?

Recently when I tried to purchase Microsoft points then I got a message from there saying that my credit card is not authorized. What is the problem?

    It means they tried to charge the credit card on your account and it didn't work. Double-check the info on your account, or check with your bank.

    first of all. do no longer purchase Xbox element by your xbox. only pass purchase a card from gamestop or walmart or everywhere. in case you purchase factors using a mastercard on xbox stay you only isn't in a position to erase you mastercard archives and danger having your archives misused. have self assurance me it occurs alot. I recommend a similar for procuring your xbox stay gold account. only purchase the cardboard and enter the code.

    make sure everything is right and the address it right. it has to match what u have at the bank info. if u want call 1-800-4my-xbox and they can tell u whats up
