Do any other conservatives feel compelled to vote democrat to preserve their union.?

Unions have destroyed the American work ethic. I am all for killing unions.

Unions need to go.

I worked for 41 years and Unions never did anything to help the companies I worked for. They want too much and eventually, like Governments they all go bankrupt.

If unions could be reasonable it would be fine. But they ask for what does not exist and then when it all crumbles they ask why. See the European nations or almost any local US government for examples.

As FDR said:

“It is impossible to bargain collectively with the government.”

Government collective bargaining means voters do not have the final say on public policy. Instead their elected representatives must negotiate spending and policy decisions with unions. That is not exactly democratic – a fact that unions once recognized.

God no! I feel compelled not to vote for Obama--just like I did the last time.

While I know from experience that unions are necessary, you can't tell me you don't think that they've gotten out of control. I paid dues and they actually told me that I would still be screwed by the boss that didn't like me--because I was White.

I wish they were really going to kill the economy killing unions.
