Because insurance companies are ripping people off.....?
Because insurance companies are ripping people off, why doesn't one brilliant big hearted liberal open an insurance company and give everyone health care coverage for so much less and include people with preexisting conditions?
Im not asking for you to rely on government to force people to do this. I am asking why a know it all liberal doesn't do it without aid of a gun pointed at the tax payers heads.

Or their other solution of just taxing people who already have insurance more and have the government make up the difference

Yeah that would be the government and we would have a better system much cheaper than private insurers. Socialized medicine works well in many countries around the world where they don't have big insurance companies stuffing the pockets of polliticians and filling everyone's ears with the evils of socialized medicine. Which would only cause private insurers to lose their 25 million dollar a year bonuses.

each employer does. in case you have ever offered a automobile, a house, or have been given a mastercard or a cellular telephone plan... you acquire "ripped off". Hidden expenses, unjustified will improve, outright deceptions. scientific coverage companies are not from now on responsible of this than the different industry. Their particular product purely effects human beings on a extra very own point than maximum.

That would require a liberal to do what they want everyone else to do. When was the last (or first) time THAT ever happened? Liberals don't do or pay for what they can get someone else to do or pay for.
Cold Warrior, please tell me the ONE THING that was "cheaper" after the federal government interfered in it. Tell me the ONE THING that even functioned nearly as effectively or successfully as under private control AFTER the federal government interfered. You can't! It hasn't happened! What makes you think a takeover of health care will result in it being "cheaper"? Were you just referring to the quality?

Obama tried to do that and he is getting nothing but flack from the GOP and the existing insurance companies.
