chemical reaction between pop rocks and soda?

what is the scientific way to describe what happens??

    There aren't any chemical reactions. It's all physical changes.

    There is high pressure carbon dioxide trapped inside the pop rocks. When the sugar dissolves the gas is released.

    More carbon dioxide is dissolved in the water of the soda. It comes out of solution when the pressure in the container is released.
