I'm a 16 year old girl and in the past year I've been feeling really really distant from my dad. We have never been close but it's like it's gotten worse in the past year. He always talks about himself and his job and it's like he doesn't care about what I like or what I'm into. We almost never talk now because I get sick of listening to him talk about boring work. I get really frustrated because he blows me off when I try to talk about something I'm into. Plus both of my older sisters also aren't close to him. I've tried being interested in what he likes but im sorry there is nothing cool about fixing computers. i do love my dad and I know things could be worse(he's never hit me ect.) but this really hurts me and I don't know what to do. Advice?

I'm a 16 year old girl and I've always been on the heavy side. I'm not fat or obese but I don't look the way I would like to (but what 16 year old girl likes the way they look?). Right now I weigh 160 and I'm 5'7" with a medium-large frame. I would like to be around 140. I want to lose it in a healthy way and keep it off so if it takes longer than 2 months I'm ok with that, but 2 months would be ideal. I've struggled with eating disorders in the past so I would really like to stay away from serious dieting--maybe just cutting out a few foods but nothing too big. I don't want to fall back into my old habits; I've worked hard over the past few years to look at food without hatred. I don't exactly know how to lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off... will exercising 2-3 times a week and cutting out junk food be enough?

I'm a fifteen year old girl and I'm sort of new to the bra thing. I've been wearing bras since I was twelve but recently my boobs have gotten a lot bigger. I always had to wear cheap bras (from like walmart) but i just got my first job and I have a bit of money and I went to Victoria's Secret to buy bras. I had been wearing a 36-38Cish and I knew the 36 was a little bit small so I got measured. It turns out that I'm a 36D. How in the world is that possible? The 38C i was wearing was a bit small but is a 38C to 36D a big jump? and the 36D fits and feels great but isn't that like freakishly big? none of my family members are that big...

I know it sounds like a stupid question because there is SO much to do there, but I'm going there for my 16th birthday and I wanna do something special. I live a few hours upstate so I really don't know what is there. I wanna go to the Empire State Building, times square, central park and stuff like that. I want it to be a really fun day. Any other ideas of places/things i can do?

I sing like all the time but im really really bad at it. I asked my mom if I could get lessons a few years ago and we now finally have the money for it. We have someone who could give me lessons (we haven't called her yet) but I want to know if my voice can still improve... Isn't there a certain age where you're too old?

I've never waxed my eyebrows before but I've plucked them a bit, and I felt like when I did I was messing with my eyebrows natural shape. I want to get them waxed now. Does it hurt? when my sisters get their eyebrows done its all red and looks painful. How often would I have to get them done? I'm worried that if they do it wrong I'll look funny for a while...

Let me just say that i'm not asking anyone to do the work for me, i just really need ideas.

So, I'm in 10th grade and in pre-physics class and we have a project due in a few weeks where we have to prove a myth plausible, false, or true. It has to be something people can see (it's going in the education fair) and relatively easy and cheap. It can't involve flames or something where people can get hurt.

I'm a 5'6" 14 year old girl that weighs 156. I'm know I'm not overweight but I would like to loose weight and be a little healthier. When my mom was a teenager she was an anarexic so she gets very worried when I don't eat much at dinner. I've always felt uncomterble talking about my weight with my mom. I live in a place that gets TONS of snow so I can't exersize and I'm poor so I can't go to a gym. How do I loose weight in a healthy way without my mom knowing???

In speech class I'm supposed to do a debate in a couple weeks about whether or not cyber bullying should be treated as a crime. I'm on the negative side. I'm not asking you to do any work and i'm not trying to get out of doing my homework, I just thought it would be good to get other peoples opinions. So: Do you have any opinions about cyber bulling? Do you think it should be treated as a crime? why or why not?

I'm supposed to do a curiosity project, take something that we are interested in, and take a few notes on it. The problem is I can't think of anything that I'm interested in. I'm not asking you to do my homework for me, only to give me ideas on interesting things I could take a few notes on. It could be anything from American government to donuts.
