How do I loose weight without my parents freaking out?

I'm a 5'6" 14 year old girl that weighs 156. I'm know I'm not overweight but I would like to loose weight and be a little healthier. When my mom was a teenager she was an anarexic so she gets very worried when I don't eat much at dinner. I've always felt uncomterble talking about my weight with my mom. I live in a place that gets TONS of snow so I can't exersize and I'm poor so I can't go to a gym. How do I loose weight in a healthy way without my mom knowing???

    Here is a idea don't loose weight. But let me explain. Do strength building exercises so you build muscle and maintain your bodyweight so you end up weighing the same just being healthier and leaner.

    Dont talk to them about "losing weight" and start talking about 'eating healthy' theres a big difference.

    You can become more toned up and turn the weight you have into muscle if you really want to but get a professional exercise plan and diet plan before you start.

    Dont hide anything from your mom she can advise you and will be the ideal person to do this. She will see the warnig signs before you and yes she will fuss and say you dont need to thats what all moms do

    You said you live in a place with lots of snow you should just shovel it.

    It's a great way to help the community, make money and lose weight.

    Shoveling statistically builds upper body strength and sheds pounds.

    Your mom probably won't suspect anything cause she *might* just think you want to help out around town.

  • alright no problem put on thick clothes or buy a space suit at a athletic store and do sets in your room maybe with dumbells but thats if you want to get technical just wear a heavey back pack or lunges or just plain go in hot shower and sweat it all off i know a kid that did that and was lean like a chicken from albertsons lol.Theres so much you can do when you go to school load your back pack with books and books and since its cold wear thermals and walk to school or classes and that will burn lots of calories.Also remember! food is very important you can do all that but if you continue to eat high calories and high carbs then you will pack on that fat on within days i mean days and it will all mean nothing! so low carbs and cals so if your eating a pizza one night cause your mom ordered it then eat like 3 slices and make a sandwich its not good good luck!
