Robert Wright is a Democrat-Republican, born in Maryland. Do you think he was for or against the War of 1812?

I would think he would be for it as most Americans were in favour of President Madison declaring war on the U K just as they were in favour of the next president enacting the Monroe Doctrine telling the Brits try an take any more land in the Americas and it would mean war with America.President Polk ran on the platform if the British did not back off on their claim to the state of Washington he would declare a 3rd war with the British

We went to war with the British 2 times and came damn close to going to war with them three other times 'over our northwest territory. San Juan island.and when they invaded Mexico during out civil war

Seeing how the war was 200 years ago and we won, I don't really give a squat Robert Wright.
