Why don't Muslims condemn the Terrorism being committed daily by their fellow Muslims?

It's their religious beliefs that is why they will not.

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Quran (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks."

Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah"

Bukhari (52:220) - Allah's Apostle said... 'I have been made victorious with terror'

Muslims follow Islam so they will not go against it by opposing what it teaches.

Anders was a Muslim that is why he did not harm them but attacked innocent non muslims just like the muslims do. Do you think Muslims are going to apologize for it or condemn him ? NO.

It's about time when their petty accusations should be taken seriously and non muslims must do to muslims what muslims do to them and then accuse them for invasion.

Mohamed is the allah of islam. Christians, Jews don't believe in him only the terr0rists do.

A better question would be

"Why don't the religious high officials in Islam, such as a Ayahtollah, stop the senseless killings, since these are done by terrorists thinking they will go to Heaven if they commit these murders. ?"

Meaning, those who have the power religiously, to make rules. They can just say, that it is wrong to do these terrible things to innocent people, and that the terrorists would therefore NOT go to Heaven for these terrible crimes, but instead, go to Hell.

This would stop them from killing, if they thought they would be condemned.

First off, there is no such thing as "moderate" Muslim or "extremist" Muslim. There is just Muslim.

Secondly, many Muslims are just born into the religion. They are mostly run by their culture instead of religious doctrine.

Thirdly, Muslims aren't mute about terrorists. We're very much against it all, since terrorist attacks are tearing Muslim communities apart.

Fourthly, many so-called terrorists as labelled by the Western media aren't terrorists at all, but freedom fighters. Just ask the defenders of the AfPak border and the area surrounding it, who are bombed by drone missles everyday, each bomb killing about TEN people EVERYDAY. Not to mention, destroying schools, homes, hospitals and so on. What about Palestine? The state is in disrepair, where people are mercilessly killed, are under harsh economic sanctions, and after the 2008 Gaza massacare, 80 percent of Gazans have no food, electricity, medical aid and jobs. And YET, the US labels them as terrorists!

Lastly, a million people have died in Iraq. Another million died in Afghanistan. 60 percent of Iraq doesn't have clean drinking water. 100 die in Pakistan everyday because of drone attacks. How long with the American population stay mute? Why aren't they shouting from the rooftops? Don't they belong to the Land of the Free? How long must the world suffer under their hands?

Do most non-Muslim Americans oppose Muslim-American and Arab-Americans being treated almost like second class citizens? I get funny looks at airports just because I have brown skin, and I'm Mexican, not Arabic. This sort of treatment causes many Muslims to almost feel compelled to defend the actions of extremists.

That is not the case here in the UK. When a terrorist attack is committed the news always takes us to a 'leader of the Muslim community' who will denounce it and implore young Muslims to take note of certain passages of the Quran. Rubbish obviously - the Quran is even more violent than the bible. Moderate Muslims and Christians support extremists by giving religious doctrine validity.

1. Terrorism is not part of Islam.

2. What someone takes upon themselves as an individual to commit is their responsibility not every other person of that same faith, race or nationality.

3. WE DO! We are not silent but you are free to view us as silent because obviously that suits your agenda of who we are.

PS I did not call for all Christians to condemn the actions of the Terrorist Anders Behring Breivik because I do not feel a single other Christian is responsible for that mans actions and I also take it as assumed without having to ask that they do not support such actions and indeed condemn them!

I did not ask all my Catholic neighbours to condemn the IRA every time the bombed my country either, perhaps if you lived next door to them you would have, but that is not my style. I do not put the actions of others onto innocent people!

Most Muslims do condemn it. Zuhdi Jasser is an example of this type of moderate Islam. It's no different than moderate Christianity.

However there are fundamentalist branches of Muslims that are very sneaky and violent which try create an aura of anti-government feelings and thereby try to recruit Muslims for their violent causes. Many Muslim organizations in the US are even backed by these fundamentalists.

I think that most of the stuff that the United States has done can be considered terrorism. Do Americans condemn it? No. They support it outright.
