95 gm 3.4 DOHC lq1 average temperature?
i bought a 95 grand prix with the 200 hp v6 lq1. since it was a little higher power than my previous car i didn't think to much of it when it averaged about 200-220 degrees. then we got another car(same year and engine) that is heavier than my grand prix. this car averaged around 130-180 degrees. so if u have or know someone with this engine if u could tell me its average temp i would appreciate it

Usual operating temp for most engines for efficiency is between 190-220 controlled by the radiator fan and somewhat by the thermostat.
The engine running between the 130-180 is running low and I suspect someone took the thermostat out or put in a lower temp one.
