How to convince my parents I'm old enough to got to a concert?

I'm 14 and I want to go to the One Direction concert. It takes about 30 minutes to get from my house to the concert. I could catch a bus with my friends, get a ride with some of my friends, or even go with my dad (if he doesn't mind). The tickets cost 72 dollars (+ 4.95 transaction fee from ticketek), and I am willing to pay for my ticket! The tickets are on sale this friday from 9 am so one of my parents will have to stay home from work to purchase them. (My guess is that they will sell out in under 15 mins :/) I really want to see them play and especially to see Louis Tomlinson as I have a major crush on him...... (even though he is 20 :/). I f I do get to go I would also want to get clothes, bangles, cd's for them to sign (All songs I have are online off itunes) etc. that have One direction all over them (: (on ebay?? not at the concert as its usually 40/ 50 dollars for a jumper etc. at the concert and 20 dollars off ebay (:! ) All help is thoroughly appreciated!!!

Update:

By the way the concert is in Australia and If I did end up going, there is most probably going to be an adult there and there will not be a mosh pit..... not sure about the time or designated seating?

It seems as you are responsible. Since it's only 30 mins from your house, your parents should let you. Explaind to them that YOU can pay for the ticket, not them.

There is a lot of shops with One Direction clothing. Why not go to a local shop? Because they are popular they should be there. If not, check: http://www.onedirectionstore.com/ . Yes, some of the clothes are pretty expensive but... remember, they can be bought in MILLIONS of shops. For example Tesco's has some 1D clothes! Yes, it's mostly a grocery shop but still has clothing!

I hope you enjoy the concert!

Give yourself one year and try not to press your parents into getting the tickets or getting you there and back. Look I know you want to go but all in all the amount of money you will have to spend and the possibility of being separated is tremendous. I been where you are and did what you want to do with friends my age. It was all exciting and the concerts were fun but one of the group got lost. She got turned around and panicked once the noise began and the crowd got into high gear. The end result was she got up in the crowd serge to the stage and got swept away pushed and shoved . You may not know this but it is like rip tide once you are in it you have to go with the flow and come out of the throng the best way you know how. what ever happens you are separated and don't think a phone helps. she was let us put it this way 7 stones under 100 lbs 4' !!'' tall and was on the lacrosse hockey and cross country team but her strength was no match. She received a concussion and a broken arm and survived an ambulance ride to the hospital and an embarrassing welcome back home from the friends she got separated from while at the concert. It was not her fault but when ever we asked to go about again even purchasing our own way she was the reason we were told get some responsible adult to chaperon not that there is mistrust, no it was that we were so excitable we tended to get involved singing dancing yelling and having a good time not paying close enough attention to each other.

So for what it is worth. We got to go eventually again at 16 but at that time we knew what to expect and still look out for each other. 14 is a bit too young. But may be you are so matured confident and self assured you may be the one to control the group. Imaging at 14 telling another 14 year old " hey come back her, don't talk to him or her, don't wonder off by your self" guess what the response will be. Most likely "Hey you are not my mom, you can't tell me what to do, who did and made you God?"

So good luck. I would take the money and invest in out fits. Ha ha you can never have enough outfits.

Good luck in what ever you do

    Next time

i believe you should ask if it would be okay and then if you want all this stuff and make sure it okay for an adult to be round to purchase them for her, as for the shopping part and then concert, you need to make a decision.

the fan stuff: its alright to get something from it but its one of those things where you need a) permission to go b) get the ticket when they come on sale

and c) budget her money to go farther
