Question about marijuana for medical use?
My mom has fibromyalgia and depression/anxiety, and when she mentioned it to her psychiatrist (MD), she told her that there was no harm in trying marijuana as long as she didn't get caught. We live in NC, so medical marijuana is illegal. She was thinking about growing it, but Im thinking of getting it for her. Its very easy to access for me since Im a college student and I live on campus.
Anyway, my question is about the dosage. I don't want her to like, get high. She wants to ingest it, and from what I read the dosage will be very very variable based on the batch and that with each batch, you have to test it to find the correct dosage. She has my 2 younger siblings to take care of, so its not like she can walk around high.
How do we figure out a proper dosage without really experimenting?

News flash, ALL narcotics, even the regular prescription ones her doc would give her for pain, will make her high.
Dosage all depends on the quality, and amount of pain. You will HAVE to experiment. Start with a couple bites, wait 20-30 and see what happens. Vaporizing is another option - doesnt have all the ick of smoking, but would be easier to dose control than edibles until she has a routine/method down pat for dosing the edibles.
