High school Football question?
I curently play high school football. I asked a question before about what position to play, lol and ended up playing defensive end on a JV and did extremely good and got moved to varsity because im strong and fire off fast. My downsides are im 5'8(posibly 5~9 because i was measured last season) and im 195 pounds. Is that a good size for varsity D-end. Because i dont have top end speed to play somthing else like wide reciever. I probly cant even run apppp 4.7 lol. I do bench 200(can add 50 to that on a good day with a spot),leg press 315 and squat 305. But the d linemen in my school do more than that. Should i stay at defensive end because i could posibly go to college in that position!?....

Based on your height and weight, I believe that you will make a very good fit at defensive end. You have the ideal size for a high school varsity defensive end.
Keep in mind, your chances of playing college football depend on your performance in football during your senior year of high school. If you perform very well in football during your senior year of high school, you will greatly improve your chances of getting recruited to play as a defensive end for a college football program.
