What are the best specifications for a notebook for gaming?

Also what notebook would you recommend for gaming that is under 1000 dollars?

    Well I personally like as big a screen as possible. I would go with acer, asus, sager, or toshiba for gaming laptops. Here is a good one I found on newegg (great site, you should explore it more).

    Also, DO NOT GET ALIENWARE. They are overpriced for what you get. An alienware with specs similar to the computer above would go for 1,400+, it is not worth it, trust me.
