what chemical works best on discolored (yellow) headlamps?
My 2005 Saab, just in the past 6 months, has developed a yellow haze that has greatly reduced my nighttime visibility. I really do not want to pay 400 for new lens covers so I wanted to try one of the other methods first. Any suggestions?

Go to your local auto parts store. You'll find several different compounds specially made for cleaning your plastic headlight lenses. Read the instructions. That and a little elbow grease and you're good to go.

Don't use chemical. Use rubbing compound. There are kits that are for getting rid of the yellow. Walmart, Autozone, etc. carry them.
