Can I put sand in a tank with mystery snails?
I also have an African dwarf frog. Right now I have gravel in there but would they be ok with sand?? Thanks ahead of time :) Also if you have any youtube videos of your fish tanks, I would love to biew some and get some ideas.
Thanks Joey, but they already did try to reproduce and their egg sack got swept into the filter. The current in my tank is pretty strong, so I think I should be ok :)

ADF should be kept in a group of at least 3 as they are very social. Keeping one alone is not ideal.
They should both be ok with sand.
And again it would be a good idea to buy a few more frogs. Like I said one alone will not thrive.
Good Luck :]

If you have mystery snails in there i would get them out ASAP because all snails are hermaphrodites ant the will constantly reproduce!
Source(s): I had mystery snails in my tank, started out with 4 of them. I ended up with 200 snails. - ?Lv 49 years ago
my mystery snails have done fine with sand. :)
I don't know about frogs... but frogs in general do well with it too.
