if you travel by daylight youll get a nice scenery (at least) in White Rock, BC and later on before Seattle. Sit on the right side in the direction of travelling. The trains are comfortable: quiet, good legroom, snack bar, ...

The ride is less than two hours not really necessary to pay the premium fare the window has the same view for everyone. The premium fare may be prudent if you were going further like Portland or Los Angelas.
