How has the Paleolithic Diet worked for you?

I'm 27, 5'8 and 165 lbs. My main goal is to eat healthier and exercise more than I have been in the past year. I wkuld like to lose about 15-25 lbs in fat but I would like to remain curvy. A few of my friends mentioned I should try the Paleolithic Diet saying it may even help allieviate my ADHD symptoms. I did my research on it and it seems like a good idea. I was curious if anyone has done this and what the results were. If you liked it, what did you like about it? If you didn't like it what about it didn't you like? I would love to hear opinions. :-)

Update:

For my workout plan, I want to alternate between hot yoga and crossfit training.

i read the whole book and lived of the recipes....i got gout from it and got fat with high cholersterol. That's when i decided to live like my mom who now eats to keep on weight. I lost 30 lbs from not even exercising. All i did was live off of vegetables with high protein and fruits and ate meat 2-3 days a week. I ate grains like wild rice and oats. I also drank 10 glasses of water a day. Think about this....sure our ancestors eat a bunch of meat because it is a lot easier to hunt than grow crops. Also, our ancestors didn't live very long. We don't know how healthy they were. Since i have been eating primarily a plant-based diet i no longer have gout and i feel sooo much better and thinnner!

There is no one single Paleo Diet, as our ancestors from all over the world ate dramatically different diets depending on the climate where they lived, their landscape, accessibility to water bodies, and the latitude that they lived. This is a detailed meal plan for the paleo diet https://tr.im/paleoguide

In some cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% plant foods and 10% animal foods, and in other cases, a Paleo Diet may be 90% animal foods and 10% plant foods.

For example, our ancestors that lived near the equator had year long access to more plant materials such as root vegetables and various fruits, veggies, and nuts.

On the other hand, our ancestors that lived at higher latitudes further away from the equator only had access to fruits and vegetables seasonally at one specific time period per year, and had larger periods of the year where they ate a higher % of meats, organ meats, fish, and other animal-based foods, or fermented foods that could be stored for winter.
