microsoft sharp kin two?
i'm looking to get a new phone, but i can't afford to pay a smartphone data package. i'm on verizon. does the microsoft sharp kin two need a 30 dollar data plan? i've heard different things.

Dito.... all the Kins.... "M" and non-"M" models do not need a data plan.... only Verizon phones that let you have WiFi without buying Data.
BTW The Kin is called a "feature phones" .... but that is because they didn't know what to call it after they killed the Kin.com cloud it ran on. It really cannot download or run any Verizon features (not even Backup Assistant) so they DO NOT require a $9.99 feature phone data plan.

If you can still find a Kin Twom phone get it; they do not require a data plan from what I read from CNET. Hope it helps.

the kin has since been discontuned. Your best bet is to get a basic flip phone as all smartphones require data plans. Why you would want a smartphone with out a data plan is beyond me.

Hi.If the phone is a basic phone then it does not require a data plan.If the phone is a feature phone it requires a $9.99 data plan.If the phone is a smart phone then yes it will require a $30 data plan
