To whom did God sacrifice jesus?
People sacrifice things they have to get something they don’t have when they can’t have both. Christians say that "God SACRIFICED His only son to save us". We know that God is Almighty; to whom did He sacrifice Jesus?

God sacrificed Jesus to save us from sin and death. Without his sinless, blameless sacrifice we would be spending eternity separated from God.
Now because of his work we will live for eternity once we are out of the body we currently live in.
God bless you!

God does not sacrifice least of all, His Only Son. He 'gives' all with Love, Light and Goodness.
Jesus voluntarily asked of His Father and chose to come Himself, to tell us Truth and teach us of The True Father of All.
Life here is nothing when compared to what IS. This life we know is nothing but a poor image of that which IS truly real.. Jesus surely knew this from the beginning. He must have known the cost was nothing compared to all that would be gained by His life here. He had virtually nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
Besides this, He never really died. He lives and breathes in Spirit, in the hearts and minds of all that believe in the Father. We shall all see Him one day soon. May ye pray without ceasing, love and help one another until this time. For this is most vital to our being, not the past nor future.

Everyday I sacrifice my time by volunteering and helping others and missing out on some fun things my friends may want to do together. To whom did I make this sacrifice to? Myself. God sacrificed HIS SON. This was not TO anyone. A personal sacrifice to save us.

Jesus was sacrificed to God as payment for our sins. His sacrifice applies only when we accept Jesus as our Lord and our Savior.
2 Corinthians 5:21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
God's written Word:
Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you. 1 John 4:10
I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love. Romans 8:31-32
If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me. 1 John 2:23
And nothing will ever separate you from my love again. Romans 8:38-39

First, because I think without this, we go wrong,
the word 'God' does not occur ANYWHERE in the entire
bible in the Greek or Hebrew.
Since we live now, in the New Covenant, in the NT, the
word for God = Theo, or Theos in the nominative case.
This is like an umbrella word, the hierarchy, the 'arche' in Greek,
the pinnacle as it were, the top.
So Jesus was sacrificed FOR us to GOD, to satisfy the
law, that death must be made for sin, and was done
ONCE and for ALL.
An important distinction and question.

You may sacrifice your most worthy possession to pay for your kidnapped children.
Similarly, God sacrificed His Son to redeem the world.
You may sacrifice yourself by entering a burning burning to save your children.
Similarly Jesus our God sacrificed Himself to save the world.
To be saved, we do not need to do any works, but only to believe in Him so that we can be born again and thus become His Children. Then, He would send His Holy Spirit into our hearts to transform us to His holiness. This process will be completed when we leave for our family Home the Heaven.
Only when all people are holy, can there be true peace. Unregenerated people cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven because their unregenerated actions will create suffering and chaos like terrorism.

The scriptures help us to appreciate at 1 John 2:2 - "He [Jesus Christ] is a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins, yet not for ours only but also for the whole world's. Jesus sacrifice as a perfect human covered the loss of a perfect human life by disobedience from Adam. (Romans 5:12)

The Lord Jesus was sacrificed for our sins at the will of his Father in order that as a sinless man he (Jesus) might destroy the eternal power of death. We all die but we have faith in the resurrection of the dead when Jesus returns.
Jesus knew that if he did hid Father's bidding all would eventually, in fact in three days after his death, come absolutely right. But before that he had to go through the humility of the spiteful play acting that went on, the crown of thorns and the agony on the cross, Jesus prayed that this cup (of agony) might pass from him but it had to be. Consequently Jesus as our great high priest and mediator in heaven can relate to our sufferings and temptations and present our prayers to his Father.

Why would an all-powerful god become flesh in order to sacrifice himself to himself so that his creation might escape the wrath of himself? Couldn't this god, in his infinite wisdom, come up with something a little more efficient?
The mythical story of Jesus' crucifixion is a horrible, sadistic story of human sacrifice. Christians even celebrate it by ceremoniously drinking his blood and eating his body. This is ritual vampirism and cannibalism.
The idea of blood sacrifice for vicarious atonement (i.e. the mythical Jesus dying for other people's sins) is immoral -- punishing the innocent to free the guilty. But, it's good marketing.

It is nothing but a blind belief of christians. Jesus was a prophet/ messiah of Almighty God. He came to the misguided Jews to save them from sin by guiding them to the path of God by his new law. He never sacrificed his life 4 anybody's sin. Its totally a misconception. TO ALMIGHTY GOD EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE 4 HIS OWN SIN.
