Ashton v Tuilagi......best of mates in the England team?

They're professionals. No need for them to be mates. They could end up at the same club team next year, much less the England squad, and the expectation is for them to work together.

Besides, rugby has this wonderful philosphy where things that happen on the pitch, stay on the pitch.

Ofcoarse ashton regretted it after getting punch liked that :P no i believe ashton is an extreamly good player but hes a cocky little $hit i think anyone would find it hard to be friends with him :P also rugby is an aggressive sport, punches are thrown, fights break out, and at the end of the game everybody shakes hands and laughs because on the pitch things that happen on the pitch stay on the pitch

Unlike Football where if someone stands someone elses toe they go in a huff and never speek to eachothe

Ashton and Tuilagi work well together as a deadly wing/outside centre combo, so they definatly mates that work together when wearing the England jersey.

They are processionals, so if there is any animosity between them, they would not show it on the international team, you see this type of thing regularly when clubs/region meet up, it is the physicality of the game, but most would end up shaking hands at the end of the match!

Probably not the best of mates as Ashton has also had a scrap with Alesana as well but I reckon their amicable enough on and off the field.

Woah woah woah woah. For a second i thought this was a 'who would win' or a 'who's better' question, cause hands down Tuilagi would win eeevery single time.

Don't particularly like Ashton, sorry. Therefore i wouldn't be surprised if they're not chums.

They are probably civil but I highly doubt they are friends....
