Hi Sweetie, I did ask my S.O. of 22 yrs. your question. He has done TONS of work on various vehicles himself & has quite a bit of knowledge. Without telling him any of the other answers you have, he quoted #2's ans. almost word for word, & the last thing he said was the ans. #1 also gave you that they at least should have told you what else needed to be done & not let you leave thinking EVERYTHING was ALL taken care of. He also said that even tho you had a floor jack, you'd still need someone who KNEW what they were doing in order to do the job rite & complete...best to you...:)

Transmission shops are specialists -- inside the can only. They aren't general technicians. You can replace the bushing yourself, if you have a decent floor jack.
