not sure of what your question is asking since seems words are missing. Any welfare is not supposed to support people for a long time or forever. People need to get out and get a job. ....ohhhh, you're asking about "welfare" and not "wealth fair"...now I understand. Well the government and your county have different figures determining how much a person should get, but you have to go into the office for them to determine that correctly.

In New York State the last estimate 3 yrs ago for a family receiving all welfare benefits was 42k
Still below the poverty level in that state.
