zolperdin..it was on news today about early deaths due to it..i have been taking it for some years,?

i would thought people be dropping non stop...has american pharmacology 100% got this right...it scared cr8p out of me....i not be taking it anymore...can't win, say if don't get enough sleep you die early then take this you die early

    Ambien is nothing but trouble, quite addictive and a depressant. There are always studies coming out about the negative effects, but nothing over the top yet. You're always better off taking less, or none, of it.

    Hu, well firstly, this study has revealed nothing new. There has always been a link between long term use of sleeping tablets and morbidity.

    Secondly, this study has not been replicated as yet (studies are replicated to see if they were done correctly and if they get similiar results then the research is regarded as valid)

    I would have a chat to your doctor, i doubt he will suggest stopping these medications but may also offer an alternative. Try not to worry.
