How did world war 2 affect americas minorities? were the effects positive or negative?

Negative for the Japanese-Americans Due to our lack of being able to trust that they wore not going to commit terrorist acts.America made a very bad judgment call that we may have saved for the 911 attacks.What happened was they took everything away from these Citizen s and put them in refugee camps across the states,The only difference between what we did to them and what Hitler did to the Jews was we had no gas ovens are medical experiments are killing them off just because going on,But I'm sure the conditions were about the same.These people did not deserve what was done to them out of our inability to not know the difference between the enemy and friends.They got caught up in our governments excuse for keeping America safe under the circumstances of this particular war.The effects that this war had on female Americans was we basically had to bring home the bacon and cook it to.Are men went off to fight not 1 war,But 2 yes we wore almost at the end of world war 1 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.So on that note The women had to be trained to do the men's job.Welding, Fabricating,the ships yards wore full of nothing but females.My Aunt learned to not only run her husbands trucking company,She learned how to drive the 18 wheelers across country just like her husband had done.My grandfather was a vet of both wars and he died fro cancer at 75 years old due to the 2 poisons Napalm's,And Agent Orange that the enemy bombed the drenches with.His wife had to run the bar and grill.Dads Sister's wore at the ship yards making bombs and battle ships,And Aircraft carriers.The smaller children collected medals of all kinds for the war effort.African Americans still had to suffer the indignity of racial segregation in the military.But a group of African Americans called the Tuskegee Airmen Took down more enemy aircraft then their white counter parts. The type of plane that these Airmen flew wore P-51B Mustang. A movie has just been made about these Hero's.Every American should make it a point to see this movie.

WWII certainly did lift the US out of the great depression as it stayed out of the conflict while trading with both sides. Later it concentrated its efforts on supplying the Allies, still staying out of the conflict, repayment demanded after the war almost broke Britain and catapulted the USA into superpowerdom. For this reason, I think that the current bleatings that Britain will save the US from the consequences of their latest Republican financial idiocy are optimistic.
