as gold is refined it gets out the impurities, and it also makes it soft. we can not make gold 'pure', there will always be some impurities, however, clear as glass, hmm was glass all that see thru in ancient times? and glass has diffent colors, so pure gold would still be gold colored and be transparent as well. I want to know how walking on it would feel, tho' with glorified bodies, it may not be my focus upon entry to Heaven.

Source(s): couple, really old, die together in car accident, go to Heaven, she just keeps gushing about the beauty, he grumbles, the friends, he growls, the thrown room, he begins pounding his fist, they get to be with Jesus, he is so upset, she finally asks, "aren't you glad to be here?" "Yeah! And I would have got to enjoy this a lot longer if you had not made me eat all that oatmeal."

Some Bible Scholars believe that Pure Gold in Heaven will be transparent. I'm not a scientist so

I couldn't say one way or the other.

On earth we have a substance which was formerly known to exist in 4 forms, now is known to exist in 5 forms. None of these forms resembles any other of the forms. Each has a different usage in human terms, each is put to a different purpose. Life as we know it would not exist without 2 of those forms, one of which is dependent on the other. Unless we have significantly greater scientific knowledge than we do right now (and it is not possible for us to know _everything ever_) who are we to say that there is not some similar situation for gold (Au)? The form to which I refer is carbon - as the atomic component of molecules, as living trees as the greatest representative life form, as coal/charcoal/etc, as diamond, and as Buckminsterfullerine (Buckyballs). This last was only discovered in 1985. Are we really so certain that we know what every form of every other element is like?
