bug in Skyrim side quest can't complete?
I got another quest from Urag to get a copy of "The Wild Elves" so I though great I have that already, but the map tells me to go find it and I cant drop it since it is a quest item and it won't update so I can give him the book, this is on the ps3. I there anything I can do to progress this, the chest where it is supposed to be is empty since I was already there and I can't put it back, do I just wait and hope the next patch will include a fix?

i got the same thing going on with one of those stupid books! idk how to fix it either. hopefully a patch will fix it soon.

This is a common bug. Unless you are on PC you will have to wait for an official fix. If you are on PC there are console commands you can use to force the quest to advance. The commands you need are: ShowQuestTargets, GetStage <quest ID>, player.sqs <quest ID>, and SetObjectiveCompleted < quest ID> <Stage Value> <1,0>.
