The Law is not just for the Jews it was for sinful human beings. The law is very important; who said it wasn't? Jesus fufilled the LAW and anyone performing the law lived and died by it as this method of living nullifies Grace. Being a Jew is not the highlight of knowing God but through Jesus Christ. Being asphyxiated on Jewish eccentrics blinds people from the reason of being saved and quite frankly knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior.

What do you mean by 'the Law' in your question? Do you mean the Torah (1st five books of the Hebrew Scripture), some of the laws described in the Torah (and if so, which ones), all of the laws in the Torah (including don't steal or murder)?
Christians often speak of a 'Law' that they say their Christ freed them from, but I can't get a concrete answer as to what law they mean.

Noone says the law is unimportant, but we do say that through the blood of Jesus we are under God's grace.
