X= 0.7 + 0.97 + 0.997 +....
X= 1-0.3 + 1-0.03 + 1-0.003 +...
X= n - (0.3 + 0.03 + 0.003 +.... )
apply sum of a geometric progression on bracket part and you ll have your answer :)
2) let n be the number of spherical shots formed.
as volume remains constant,
pi * 2^2 * 45 = n 4/3 * pi * 3^3
solve n :)
