Engine noise through woofer...?
Same setup as in my Cherokee (same amp/radio/woofer/cables), but my Grand Cherokee has engine noise coming through. I put my power cable as far as possible away from my engine, but nothing worked. How do I get rid of the noise???
side note: My ground, power, and REM cross each other.... I don't know if that matters....

Ground your rca cables .... or buy ground loops for them
Make sure your power cable is not exposed everywhere
and make sure sub ground is good

The RCAs are more than likely damaged. try using a spare set of RCAs and do a temp run from the radio to the amp to see if it fixes the problem. The ground, power and remote crossing have nothing to do with this noise unless they are also damaged to the point that a conductor is grounding out against the chassis.

It *shouldn't* have stalled, in spite of the indisputable fact that it did, excellent? The smoking is extraordinary by using the indisputable fact that continuously ability an oil leak, yet puddles do not reason oil leaks. of direction, in case your windshield is getting moist, there's a lot of water being thrown round and this is getting to the ignition device. You did not say what 12 months your truck is, or if it has digital ignition or an older-type breaker distributor. those likely insignificant information honestly do matter.

A couple of things.. You could be picking up the EMF from your alternator ( Electro-magnetic field) thru your RCA cables.. If you press the gas, and the whine gets higher pitched, then that's it.. Move the RCA's away from all other wires, power, chassis wiring, etc...
I wouls also look at your hpf/lpf.. Seems like your crossover setting is letting "highs/ the whine" thru.. might be on by-pass, instead of low pass for subwoofers..

Sometimes you need to put an ignition noise isolator in-line on the power cable. This is old school as most new cars don't cause radio interference.

capacitor between power wire and ground. radio shack sold kits like this in the 70's on for alternator noise . called noise suppression kits

well, my guess would be that if your dog is making engine noises, they could have swallowed a small cc engine such as one you would find in a common lawnmower, weedwacker, etc. this is most likely fatal. im sorry for your loss.
