i need help with this compound inequality!?

okay i know the answer is

(-infinity,+infinity)

the problem:

2(5x-4)>6 or -(x-3)>-7

please help me, i need to study my old test questions (this is an old test question) so i can study for my finals! :'( thank you!!!!!!!!!

um, πšΊπš·πšΏπ›€πšΏ, i'm not sure how he got this answer. but the teacher said this was the answer, my original answer was (1.4,10) but that's not what he's looking for... :(

    2(5x-4)>6

    10x -8 >6

    10x > 14

    x>14/10

    x>1.4

    -(x-3)>-7

    x-3 < 7 change signs and flip >

    x< 10

    So you have

    x>1.4 or x< 10

    The solution is (1.4,10)

    I don't know how you got the answer (-inf,inf)
