2(5x-4)>6
10x -8 >6
10x > 14
x>14/10
x>1.4
-(x-3)>-7
x-3 < 7 change signs and flip >
x< 10
So you have
x>1.4 or x< 10
The solution is (1.4,10)
I don't know how you got the answer (-inf,inf)
