What are some futuristic innovations for Ford? or just vehicles in general?

For an idea to exist a thought of it must have occured previosly, so it makes as interesting conudrum.

But to design a futuristic idea is easier to answer. If there is no foreseeable way of creating something, then a design cannot be produced. So at current there are many idea that physically cannot be designed, one such theory that compelled me in university was the idea of self generated electricity. It cant be done at the moment because, to use the electricity to power a motor to turn a generator to produce more, the electricity disapates through heat and sound energy until there is none left to turn the motor, which in turn stops the generator, which no longer produces electricity.

But the idea was that perhaps in the future somebody can make the system work by creating a way to stop inadvertent energy loss. So the two items could run eachover forever.

But then the idea after that may be for somebody to make the system produce more electricity then the motor needs, providing a surplus to use for other items. Hence creating a self powering electricity generator.

This may or may not be possible depending on the outcome of the Hydron Collider, but if possible it would solve all global warming, and stop any need for fossil fuels.

But then again, if it sounds impossible, the romans would proberly have thought it impossible to fly.

if you want to know about whats gonna happen in the future with car tech look at concept cars, these test out new ideas, partly just to see if they can do it, partly to see if the pulic like the design cues, and partly to generate interest/news in the brand.

look for news reports from the major car shows, geneva, franfurt, LA, Paris, shanghai, tokyo etc, all major car mags will cover them, and once you know a few names of concept cars look them up on google, if youre lucky you will find a press release which will have all the info about the car and its tech, both real and theoretical.
