What are you people finding to be the best calibration settings for a panasonic s30 50" plasma tv ?

    Power saving off, CAT's sensor off, picture mode vivid and adjust from there how you like it. Standard picture mode is still an energy saving mode. It will darken and lighten the picture like the CAT's sensor is still on.

    The adjustments are there to compensate for Your particular television, your cables and the variations of your source box (cable, sat, BluRay player, etc).

    Get a Pixar Bluray disk and go to the video setup menu. You will find test patterns and instructions on setting the Brightness, Contrast and Color.
