Why do YOU think the "new" Yahoo Mail is better than the classic one?
Personally, I do NOT like the new mail, because it no longer recognizes my mouse device's BACK button (which means I get the login page instead of the 'previous' page), and it often doesn't allow me to delete drafts because the draft is supposedly still being edited. I also don't like the 'session expired' popup that doesn't allow me to do anything other than closing the tab that it's displayed in (or login, but I've usually already logged out).
All in all, I've not found a single improvement. I know you can get glowing reviews in computer magazines if you bribe the author of the review, but before I draw the conclusion that that is what Yahoo did, I'd like to know if any of you like the "new" mail better, and why.

Some do but most find it to be a pain in the ****.
If that's how you feel----Why don't you just switch back to Classic ?
You can do this to get back to Classic (which is the ONLY older version you can stay with or get back to)----it's quick, easy and permanent.
This link (below) has been reported to be a permanent fix---and even stops future "prompts to upgrade"
It's "different" than some of the other links, (that have been given), which are only temporary (or won't activate when you click on it)
Click this link:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/contex...
When the page opens---scroll down about midway until you see this---"What if I don’t want to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail"?----IF you do not want to upgrade, please "click here" to use Yahoo! Mail Classic.
("click here" is a blue link). Return to Classic is immediate and permanent.

I like the old one too.
Every time yahoo tries to make something better, it will always find a way to make it worse....Eric.
