Woofer picking up a little engine noise and music not clear...?
Wired my power wire are far as possible from the engine, still getting a little engine noise and the music is not clear. Also I revved the engine and the noise did not get any worse so it's not the alternator but I'm not sure what is causing it. What could be causing this and how could I fix it??? -Thanks
Great suggestion Bruce, I'll try that right now!

If you remove the audio source from the amp does it still do it, with no inputs.
maybe it needs a capacitor in the trunk to quiet the power.
Maybe it's ground loop.
Currents that travel on the shields of the left right feed, because of poor installation.

if your picking up engine noise running in your system its most likely your RCA cable or cables are running to close to the power source running to your amplifier from battery to amp.this distorts the signal running threw your RCA cable or cables.power on one side of your ride and RCA cables on the other.also bad RCA cables will give you this problem.this is your fix.listen to bruce he knows his sht.
