Among Christians who believe the Genesis Flood was global, what scientific evidence do they cite?

Usually they avoid scientific evidence, since they don't really have any.

However, many state outdated, ignorant bunk like "there's seashells on mountaintops"; apparently they don't understand plate tectonics and upheaval.

I have seen a lot of videos for a WW flood. Of course this is science above my understanding. It gets so complicated how could I ever know if I am being told the truth by either side? So I guess I will stick with the Bible as it reads indicating a WWF.

particularly the bible says that the ark stopped on the "mountains of ararat", that's hardly stated to be the utmost mountain everywhere interior the bible. The mountains of ararat in accordance to fashionable checklist and josephus are amplify from turkey via the climate of saudi arabia

Where I live there are seashells in the rocks. But I really don't expect to see evidence of a flood after 4000 years. It only lasted a few months then resided. Shouldnt be much evidence after 4k

Fossils has to be formed until special condition, and we found fossils all over the world, that could explain a world wide flood. Even some climate of animals bones that don't belong in that kind of climate.

I have heard so many lectures and it would be some much work to regurgitate it here lol
