Anyone know this short story: a woman does not phone for ambulance...?
...when her abusive husband has a heart attack? He forbid her from using the phone until 9pm (the cheap rate) so when he has a heart attack during the day she waits until 9pm to call for ambulance.
Anyone recognise that story? Who wrote it?

If it's a novel/book that's been written, you can try searching for it on goodreads, there are groups dedicated to finding books where the person asking knows the description but not the name.
