Question about shipping?

Hi, I was wondering how long it would take a package to get from Madrid, Spain to El Paso, Texas? I have no idea how my friend is going to ship it (like what service he will use) but does anyone know a general time span that it could take? It is probably just a five pound box. I am expecting him to ship it by March 20, does anyone know if I will get it by May 3rd?

Probably depends on the service you use to ship.

UPS and FedEX are pretty responsible. The post office: air mail should take about a week, and cost an arm, a leg, and a left nut. Surface mail: about a month.

    Yeah. probably by May 3.

I live in Spain and post from Spain to the UK can take from 2 - 4 days. The postal service here is good. There are couriers such as DHL & UPS as well. The USA may take a few days longer to have delivery depending on how good their postal system is!
