Are the special effects lost when transferring from Slide.com to Picasa?

I have been using Slide.com for my slideshows and I always liked them

because of the fun special effects you can add onto individual photos.

Now that they are closing tomorrow there is an option to save stuff either as

a zip file or transfer over to Picasa.

My question is when you transfer a photo from Slide.com to Picasa, or save to zip file

are the special effects one added from Slide.com saved as well, or is it just the plain photo?

    I have never used slide but when I transfer from Luna pic to Picassa, I lose all effects. If I save to my computer first , I lose animations but not effects.
