Essay Ideas- don't understand directions. Help please?

Choose a topic you like. Your essay must focus on a **process**. It must be something about which you have at least intermediate-level knowledge, so that you can describe the process.

For example, I am a botany enthusiast, and so I could write an essay about the value of learning to identify wild edible plants. Successful Plant ID requires a process. That is just one out of dozens of topics I could choose.

So, I would describe why I think wild edible plant ID is important (that's my opinion, and essays always include the writer's opinion). Then I would proceed to a list skills necessary for successful plant identification. I would also include a description and analysis of the plant ID process. These become the body of my essay. In my conclusion, I would restate my opinion regarding the process of wild edible plant identification.
