I'm thinking of heading that way in mid April. Does anybody have any personal recommendations/tips/outfitter suggestions. It looks like that's a good time to go for the crappie fishing and bluegills.

grab yourself a fistful of cane poles, rent a boat and head for the nearest weedbed with a bucket full of minnows.
no guide or outfitter needed.
crappie and 'gills are definitely NOT rocket surgery.
