Please help me, I feel so worthless?
I don't know what to do...my parents and my boyfriend both emotionally abused me for years..My parents for my entire life and my boyfriend for close to 10 years. They are both out of my life now but it doesn't make the pain go away. I feel like a failure and worthless, even though I am very successful and didn't do anything wrong. How do I fix this ...please?
I live on my own, I work close to 60 hours a week....I am very successful but I just don't know it..I break myself down because I just believe I am worthless

Figure out what makes you truly happy and go out and pursue it. Find some positive and happy go lucky people who will keep you positive company and will cheer you up. Find a boyfriend who you share the same goals with and will treat you the right way. You've been around abuse all your life so you're going to feel the hurt for a while but just figure out how to maintain happiness.

You've been told you were worthless for so long by people so close to you of course you are still going to feel that way. Now you need people close to you in your life telling you over and over again you aren't worthless and you are a great and valuable person. Positive reinforcement is what you need pounded into you so that you counteract the negativity you were handed for so many years.

I have also been in a similar situation in which my sisters and I had been mentally and physically abused for years, I had been abandoned by my father, and have been bouncing around from home to home ever since. I too feel that I am worthless and have been in counseiling for 3 years and was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress. It might benefit you to also see a therapist or a doctor who you could talk to and help you manage your issues.

I've been depressed also, but not the same exact situation. I cant say much, bt if I had to give you advice I would talk to someone. It really does lift huge weights off of your shoulders. They care and can help you get through this together. I would also recommend writing in a journal. It's helped me a lot by expressing my emotions better. I hope everything works out okay!
