Neighbors light keeps going on and off?

My neighbor recently passed away of age about a month ago. Today I was home alone and i noticed that his lights in his house keep going on and off. No one lives in the house but it's getting put up for sale. I thought it was just his porch light sensor but I looked closer and the light is coming from inside his house. I don't know if realtors use sensored lights and timed lights but it's kind of freaky any suggestions on what's going on...?

It is probably a short in a wire, or maybe the electric company was in the process of turning off the lights. Has the house been emptied? Have relatives been there to remove things? Maybe a mouse chewed through a wire and it caused a light to flicker. The possibilities are endless.

It's probably just a timer. My grandparents and parents use those things all the time. They'll set them to go off when it's bedtime and to turn it on when it starts getting dark. That way they never have to fuss with the switch which can be difficult for older people, especially with things like arthritis.

Yes,most likely they have the lights on timers along with cameras for safety purposes. Relax,no need to let the imagination run wild.
